Apparently, there has a been a fender bender going on lately. I'm not surprised, it's 2015, and we live in the so called 'outrage culture.' This culture is very addicted to victimization and sees offence in everything.
But I don't understand the outrage people exhibit towards 'The Wiz Live!' when it comes to race. I mean, there was literally a white version of this movie, called 'Wizard of Oz.' Remember that movie? with Dorothy, the Scare Crow, The Cowardly Lion and the Tin Can? Guess what? All of these characters were played by white people. How come there was never an outrage about that? Because it was all white cast? I don't think so.

I think it's more about the fact that people now a days, don't have anything to stand for. I bet, that the people that caused the outrage were just some SJW's from Tumblr. These are the same kind of people that would scream 'CULTURAL APPROPRIATION' if they see you eating a Burrito, or god forbid, practicing Yoga. Either way, I see nothing wrong with having all black cast, even though there is actually a white guy in 'The Wiz.'
But go ahead people, throw the words 'racism' and 'cultural appropriation' around like you actually know how to use them. Soon enough, this society will be just like '1984' just like Orwell predicted.
